I think the term is chasing your tail. After a bout of flu and half term things have been piling up a bit but I think I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel again. I have 3 boys (Aged 2, 6 and 8) and I also run an equine laundry business (www.charliequinelaundry.co.uk) so life is never dull here. The laundry is normally really quiet over the winter hence I thought I would use the time to introduce Oz Overboots to the UK market. Little did I know that the equine laundry would not slow up this year at all. Inbetween stuffing rugs in washing machines I have been working on designing some leaflets for the Overboots. I find this so hard as I do not have a creative bone in my body and neither does my husband Andrew.
I have also been amazed by Twitter this week and how the farming community pulled together to retweet things. I have to say I feel that Facebook is becoming far more censored not all friends are seeing posts leading to limited impressions. All highly frustrating when you are trying to promote a business and you know that you have a good network of friends who could make such a difference but Facebook would rather tout their Boost button.
On a positive note this week we have supplied a raffle prize of a pair of Standard Overboots for the #clubhectare dinner. They are raising money for an amazing charity, The Lullaby Trust, at their annual dinner on Saturday. I want to wish them the best of luck and hope that they have a fabulous evening.
My aim for the coming week is to promote Australian Overboots to landscape gardeners and the construction industry as well as farmers. I will update you on this next week. Hope you all have a productive and enjoyable week.
All the best
Hannah
