Oilskin Sox Saver OverBoots - Velcro® Seam

Bought the non velcro version first which you have to remember to put on before your boots, then i found the velcro ones, im yet to find a down side to them, absolutely brilliant no more seeds and stuffs caught in my socks.

I walk fields every day with my dogs and it's this time of the year when grass seeds find their way into my boots and socks and become a constant irritation. They also ruin my socks when trying to dislodge them. I didn't want full gaiters so searched for some sort of alternative. These Oz Overboots tick all the boxes. Lightweight, unobtrusive and so easy to get on and off. My feet are now seed free and dry. What's not to like about them?

These are the second set of sock protectors that I've bought from Oz Overboots.
Very simply, they just work and do it easily.
It takes a couple of seconds to put them on, take them off and clean them.
I don't know I'm wearing them when they are on.
When the walk's finished I've got that extra half hour that in the past has been spent getting grass seeds out of my socks.
. . . . and, they don't fall apart in the first couple of weeks of use like everything else seems to these days.

Bought some a few years ago, really good, so second pair not used yet, but hopeful they will last along time.

These sox savers are proving to do exactly what I’d hoped. Easy to put on over my walking boots. The Velcro allows for the extra width to go over my big boots. No stones or mud getting in under my feet any more! Brilliant! And much better for me than long gaiters. Especially during the summer. I love them. Reckon my husband may be after some for himself soon too!
