Although designed specifically for wet and slushy conditions, many prefer to wear these despite the small additional cost.
Please note that if you are looking a 100% waterproof overboot then you will need the Standard Oilskin Overboot.

I searched the internet recently with the question “how do I stop stones getting in my walking boots” and up popped these little beauties. I’ve got gaiters but they’re such a faff to put on with the boot clips and straps, I only ever really used them when it rained. I wanted something simple to use on a daily basis come rain or shine and these fit the bill perfectly. I decided on the weatherproof ones simply because they were a few pennies more and I loved the colour. I absolutely love these and can’t recommend them highly enough.
I've been using them at work on rocky ground for 2 weeks now and no single stone get into my boots. They do their work so thumb up for you Oz!
